How do the competitions work
After each hand you'll see the results for other players who have played the same hand. The hands are changed every Sunday. Daily: Compare the last 12 hands you played today with those who have played the same hands. Weekly: Shows your rank for all hands played during the current week. You must play 12 to qualify. Ladder: The ladder results are calculated by looking at the weekly results for the last four weeks. Each players average finsishing position is calculated and the overall results are displayed by rank. You need to play at least 12 hands per week for your results to be included.
Login from a different computer
Your username and password will work on any computer. Enter your username and password in the normal way when prompted and let us know if you have any trouble.
Player Options
The icon on the top right corner of the playing screen showing four reddish looking heads is the player options. When you click this button you will see the player names above the heads of the West, North and East player and above the cards of your own hand. Each of the player name areas includes 3 options. If you click the any of the N,S,E,W buttons you will see the bidding logic of the computer at that players turn. The middle section shows the player or computer name and that is also a button. If you click this middle button then you are turning the computer off for this player. That will allow you to bid or play for this position instead of the computer. Finally, there is the 'sit' or 'head' on the right hand side of the player area. By default you are sitting in the South seat, however if you leave your seat by clicking on the head then you can choose to sit in any of the other positions. Not all of these options are available with every game type. If you are playing the competition hands, for example, then you can't switch seats and you can't play for the computer.
Select bidding system
There are players from all around the world playing bridge on our site. To cater for as many players as possible, we have included an option to change your bidding system. You can access this option from the 'settings' screen on the main menu.
Subscriptions
After your 7 day free trial you will need to subscribe if you wish to keep playing bridge online. You will be redirected to a secure payment page and once you have subscribed you will have instant access to the game. You can unsubscribe at anytime without obligation.
Update credit card information
If you change credit cards or the expiry date on your credit card changes then we'll need to update your subscription. You can do that online using worldpay or paypal although you might find it easier just to go through the subscription process again. If you do that we'll cancel your old subscription for you.
Username and Password
When you are first logging on to the game you can enter a username and password of your choice. You'll be prompted to try a different username if the one you chose has been taken by someone else. You can change your username or password on the settings page which is accessed from the main menu.
